Slava Litvinenko

Slava Litvinenko is a senior consultant, focusing on architecting business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. He specializes in business requirements analysis, business intelligence systems architecture, data modeling and SQL Server performance tuning. Slava has more then 16 years of progressive experience in all phases of System Development Life Cycle. To ensure success of the projects, he practices Kimball approach to Data Warehouse design

Slava began his career in 1992 as a developer for high-tech company in Israel, writing Assembler and C programs for microprocessors and communication devices. He eventually progressed to a team leader position and was in charge of developing database applications, supporting production process.

After moving to Canada in 1997, Slava joined TD Bank, where he led development of Decision Support systems for VISA Issuer and Acquirer. From this point on he concentrated exclusively on development of Business Intelligence systems. In 2001 as Sr. Systems Analyst in Finance Information System department in TD Canada Trust he played the leading technical role in developing Financial Data Warehouse and Data Marts on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 platform. In 2004, as BI Architect for Credit Risk Management area in TD Canada Trust, he worked with senior management to justify and implement large Business Intelligence System. He established architecture and led a team to develop and support Credit Risk Data Warehouse and Data Marts on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and Business Object XI platform. 

In 2007 Slava joined Business Intelligence practice in Avanade Inc (joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft). He led Business Intelligence, Reporting and performance tuning projects. He also built prove of concept prototypes, conducted presentations, educational sessions and participated in relevant pre-sales activities.

On his current role as Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Architect for TD Asset Management Slava leads development of the new data warehouse for wholesale banking

Slava is Microsoft Certified Professional in SQL Server and Business Intelligence.
